Such a refreshing drink on a hot summer day.
Makes 8 servings
10-oz. pkg. frozen strawberries
15-oz. can crushed pineapple
1½ c. orange juice
1-qt. bottle club soda or sparkling water, chilled
Optional: strawberries
In a blender, combine frozen strawberries, pineapple with juice and orange juice. Blend until smooth and frothy. Pour mixture into ice cube trays and freeze. To serve, put 3 cubes into each of 8 tall glasses; add ½ cup club soda or sparkling water to each glass. Let stand until mixture becomes slushy. Garnish each glass with a strawberry, if desired.
